I co-founded the globally renowned brand Shit You Should Care About (SYSCA), a media platform with an audience of over 3.4 million, a media platform my two best friends and I started from scratch in 2018 during our last year of university.

What began as a blog, became a network of
podcasts, newsletters and an Instagram account that shares world news in a way that is both accessible and enjoyable.

My role was primarily focused around the creative direction of Shit You Should Care About, while also being the sole graphic designer of the company.

I had the pleasure of refining the current version of the brand alongside
Daylight, a creative studio based in Auckland, New Zealand.

I created and creatively led an array of visual campaigns across a range of industries including news media, sustainability, music, publishing, business, film & tv, food & drink.

Throughout my 5 years at SYSCA I worked alongside brands such as
Universal Music, Sony Music, Penguin, HBO, Warner Bros, and Bumble to create bespoke campaigns.

I was also a long-term podcast host on SYSCA's pop-culture podcast Culture Vulture, across the table from my best friend and co-founder Lucy Blakiston.

This podcast had a parallel newsletter that I wrote weekly, and each edition was
read by and audience of up to 70,000 people.
